you have to understand it in context ....
C1 is only pai chiu .... pai ka is pretty useless, since
soldiering invariably means a lot of working and running, even if
you're riding a tank.
I'm C1 as well, and I can still carry a rifle and chiong.
Lots of people are C1 cos of a previously fractured wrist,
dislocated shoulders etc. They may not be able to swing around
trees like monkey, but they can certainly can shoot a rifle and
stick a bayonet into someone's guts.
I think it's a good thing cos half the NS boys nowadays seem to
be non-combatants of one stripe or another.
